Composer night

introduction

I graduated in composition at the Liszt Academy of Music as a student of Emil Petrovics and János Vajda. With my works, I first and foremost wish to offer something to the listener; this is the most fundamental desire that motivates me to compose. Through my sounds I strive to capture the listener’s attention, to take them somewhere, to lift them up, and in some way to “speak to their heart.” All this with the rich and marvelous array of expressive means inherent in music. For music can indeed speak: it can express human emotions and states of being, serve as a mirror of the soul, lead into depths and heights, and depict scenes or even an entire dramaturgy.

Vocal compositions

The works collected here reveal my search for the human voice as the most direct expression of spirit and emotion. From intimate solo pieces to expansive choral textures, the music seeks to give voice to poetry, faith, and the hidden resonances of the heart.
